These are examples of slipcases and book repairs we have performed. One was a discrete slipcase for a risque book of erotic postcards. We also build custom clamshell boxes. The others are slipcases to protect ancient books that will be damaged if stored or shelved loosely.

This is a 50-year-old album repair job we undertook for a woman who was given the album as a child in Burma. The album had fallen apart in her hands.In looking at the album, it was evident the item was never intended to last her lifetime.

The album was a cheap, poorly constructed post-WWII Japanese-manufactured item that appeared to have fallen apart in its first year of life. As one of the few Book repairs, book binding, slipcases, clamshell boxes, used books, rare books, book searchesitems remaining from her childhood (she was a refugee from the tyranny that has plagued that country for decades) she wanted to conserve the album.

We repaired and reinforced it, and built this slipcase for her.

We enjoy giving new life to old favorites.
